Fungsi Manajemen George Robert Terry dalam Pandangan Islam
Abstract
This study discusses the functions of management according to George Robert Terry, who is famous for his extraordinary work entitled "Principles of Management". The theory presented in this book succeeded in creating an important formulation in modern management science and was patronized by subsequent researchers. And what is phenomenal are the four management functions he put forward, namely Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling. This article aims to see the correlation and linkage of these 4 management functions with Islamic teachings according to the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. In this research, a type/approach to library research is used. From the research results, it can be concluded that the management theory and management functions put forward by G.R Terry have a correlation and conformity with Islamic values based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith.
